It’s official! Tortugas are coming to the metaverse on August 15th! Mark your calendars 😉 because we are throwing a minting party in Buenos Aires

This week Buenos Aires has been taken by the Ethereum community. We are having the ETH Latam conference on the 11, 12 & 13th of August with more than 100 speakers and approximately 5000 attendees per day. It’s one of THE crypto events in the calendar and a perfect opportunity to really feel the vibrant community that’s arising in this side of the world. Not only that, but the Ethereum community incentivizes companies, DAOs & communities to host Side Events of a specific topic. And here is where we jump in.

We decided to host a side event about NFT community building and end it with Tortuga’s live minting party. As a team we had mid August in our calendars marked as the minting date of Tortuga. Having the ETH Latam conference was a lovely coincidence that we couldn’t miss. One of the major goals of Lazy Spanish is to merge the latin community with the english speaking one. We said many times that by being part of Lazy Lions we have the advantage of being able to connect with both and bridge the gap between them. We aim for Tortuga and this event to be a step towards that.

But we didn’t want to just throw a party, we want our attendees to have a valuable experience, to make them feel that they are on Isla Tortuga and share our knowledge on one of the most important aspects of a NFT project (or any other web3 project). Here’s how it’s going to look like:

Our goal is to add value to participants and have fun at the same time. One of the main aspects of the Isla Tortuga community is humor, being authentic and the sense of togetherness. We want people to feel that and have interesting conversations while networking.
